Letter to Editor 10.03.24
Dear Letter Editor:
I write to comment on a recent article about a Westside fire fighter house, an article that was on the front page of the September 19-25 issue of Westsider with the byline Keith J. Kelly. While feature news pieces like this are interesting and have a certain soul to them, It’s just sad to see that your standards of journalism are just so abjectly deficient. Journalism 101. The 5W‘s. Nowhere in this article in 15 or 18 paragraphs does your so-called journalist ever give the address of the fire station. Who? What when where why how? Please hire real journalists or have real editors Review their work before you go to print. The Five Ws. Journalism 101.
Yours truly, Daniel, Kennedy
Editor’s note: While we did mention that the house was on W. 48th St. in the caption, we should have listed the avenue as well. For future reference, it is located on the corner of W. 48th St. and Eighth Ave. We updated the story that appears online.
