    Yes, But Mostly the Action

    A new nypd recruiting campaign currently appearing in subway cars around the city uses the following tagline:

    The action. The adventure. The pride. The purpose.

    That's all fine and good, but why stop there? Why not offer those potential recruits a few things they can really get excited about?

    The firearms. The sirens. The cool uniforms. The unarmed suspects. The ticket quotas. The untrackable cash. The uncut cocaine. The chicks. The cover-ups. The fudged statistics. The booze. The road rage. Did we mention the firearms?
