THE UNCANNY BUSH VS. BUSH

At first, it looked like a sign of the apocalypse: George W. Bush appeared as two. But instead of the imminent destruction of the world (Bush put these pursuits on hold), we saw a rare side of the president-one with a sense of humor. While speaking at the recent White House Correspondence Dinner, Bush appeared side-by-side with impersonator extraordinaire Steve Bridges. The two took turns roasting everyone from the media, Dick Cheney and the Supreme Court judges. Unlike his usual bumbling, jibber-jabbing speeches we're use to, Bush was actually coherent, and, well, hilarious. After Bridges recounted the Cheney hunting fiasco and added that Cheney was "drunk as a skunk" on light beer, the real Bush upped the ante. "Cheney is a good guy, with a good?heart?well, he's a good man." Bridges did have the funniest line of the bit after the real Bush referred to his wife. "She's hot? Muy caliente!"
