Sexual Assault on NYPD Traffic Agent in Hell’s Kitchen
An on-duty female NYPD traffic agent was grabbed from behind by an unknown black male while directing rush hour traffic. He fled.

An on-duty female NYPD traffic agent was the victim of a sexual assault in Hell’s Kitchen on the morning of June 18.
At approximately 9:55 a.m., Police said the agent at the intersection of W. 42nd St. and Ninth Ave. was approached by a black man around five feet in height at approximately 9:55 a.m, who grabbed her and pressed her buttocks against himself before fleeing the scene.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
The Citizen website describes the suspect as last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black sweatpants, and no shoes. According to the website, the NYPD initiated a Level 1 mobilization following the event but were unable to locate the suspect.
