The poet Laureate Makes her debut

Esther Lazarson, a 91-year-old dubbed “The Poet Laureate of the Upper West Side” in an article in this newspaper. made her poetry-reading debut, in an event April 18 at the Bloomingdale Library on W. 100th Street. Lazarson read for more than an hour from her book, “Everyday Poems for Every People,” as well as from other poems written since its publication.
