LaGuardia students tapped as presidential scholar Scrapbook

Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts student Javier Spivey has been named one of this year’s 20 U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts. This award is one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students. Spivey will attend the National Recognition Program in Washington D.C. and be presented with the Presidential Scholar Medallion at an award ceremony on June 21 by Arne Duncan, Secretary of Education.
