Attention, Upper West Siders: Gale Brewer’s free book fair has been postponed to March. Originally slated to move forward on Sunday, Jan. 25, Brewer says that the monster snowstorm set to touch down on NYC has led her to move the fair back until March 8.

Brewer included the following note in her newsletter: “My office’s annual Free Children’s Book Fair, originally scheduled for this Sunday, 1/25 at the JCC, is being postponed to Sunday, 3/8 (JCC is booked up on Sundays until then!) because of the snow—at this writing, they just don’t know how much we’re going to get, and “an abundance of caution” is the phrase we’re seeing everywhere!”

”It’s not too late to donate good condition children’s books (especially Spanish-language titles) before the storm, at the JCC (334 Amsterdam Ave.); they’re open tomorrow, Friday 1/23,” she added.

Stay warm!
