Forest Fitness

This summer, head to Fort Tyron Park for Fitness at the Fort. The class incorporates stair climbing, stretches and strengthening exercises, notable tree identification and forest bathing. The class is held three days a week at varying degrees of difficulty. Tuesdays are at an easy pace; Thursdays are moderate, and Saturdays are intense. All classes are led by Nancy Bruning.

As part of the Summer on the Hudson programming, Dances for a Variable Population (DVP) will host dance workshops at Riverside Park. DVP is a multi-generational dance company and educational organization promoting strong and creative movement among all people, with a special focus on older adults. Master teacher Naomi Goldberg Haas and members of the company will lead these workshops. People of all abilities are welcome.
